Thermally Dispersed Knockout Gas Grenades are designed to render people or animals unconscious.

This particular one is comprised of a mixture of volatile liquid chemical compounds that become gaseous and surrounds the environment with a dense invisible fume.

This happens with elevation in temperature from micro heating filaments or solid based propellants at the middle section of the grenade, between the knockout compound and the central heat dispersal membrane. This can be used to render people or animals unconscious in open or confined spaces.
It’s usefulness ranges from incapacitating enemy combatants, hostage rescue operations to the protection of sensitive security facilities from attacks.
